Description
This is the first commercial product obtained in the processing of cocoa beans. Contrary to its name, Cocoa liquor contains no alcohol. It is made by grinding the nib or meat of the cocoa bean. Also referred to as unsweetened baking, Cocoa liquor comprises of half cocoa butter and half cocoa solids. It is a thick, gritty, dark brown paste that liquefies when heated. Sold under the trade name Portem, our cocoa liquor has a fineness of 98% and a strong rich flavour of premium roasted cocoa.
